ESKSISTENSI INDONESIA DI DALAM KONFLIK PALESTINA DAN ISRAEL
Abstract
Indonesia's presence in the Palestine-Israel conflict reflects Indonesia's active and consistent role in this issue. Indonesia has long supported the rights of the Palestinian people and will strive for genuine independence for them, ultimately achieving world peace and order. The factors behind Indonesia's support for Palestine include: Indonesia's anti-colonialism stance, as enshrined in the 1945 Constitution. Indonesia rejects any state control over another country. Indonesia has recognized Palestine as a sovereign state since 1988, but Israeli occupation has deprived Palestine of its right to independence. Furthermore, Indonesia is a predominantly Muslim country, as is Palestine, making it obligatory for fellow Muslims to support and assist one another. Indonesia will continue to strive to advocate for and support the achievement of independence for the Palestinian state. This reflects Indonesia's strong commitment to fighting for Palestinian freedom and sovereignty as part of its support for their rights.
