Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out the role of the government in regional development planning in the field of planning, controlling and evaluating regional development in Central Sulawesi Province. This type of research is descriptive and has a qualitative analysis approach. Data collection in this research through secondary data and primary data was carried out through observation and in-depth interviews with 5 informants using pourpsive sampling . Location At the Central Sulawesi Province Regional Development Planning Agency Office. The results of this research conclude that the Determination of Control Plans and Evaluation of Development Planning. The control and evaluation of development planning with provisions has gone well, but in the preparation of plans, determination of plans and control of plan implementation, evaluation of plan implementation has not been in accordance with previously determined targets because the time has not been on target. . Evaluation Planning includes certain components that are always found in every evaluation plan, namely objectives and evaluation methods. Although good planning is no guarantee of an effective evaluation, poor planning will always lead to evaluation chaos. The time and resources devoted to careful planning in the evaluation of educational programs are invaluable.
