PENGENALAN DAN PENGEMBANGAN POTENSI DESA BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL DI KECAMATAN DOLO SELATAN (DITINJAU DARI ASPEK EKONOMI)

Abstract

Each village in the Dolo Selatan subdistrict has unique local potential, whether in terms of natural resources, human resources, or local wisdom values that have been passed down through generations. However, this potential is often not optimally managed due to limited knowledge, guidance, and a lack of innovations based on local culture. The goal of this activity is to raise community awareness and encourage the sustainable and economically valuable use of local potential. The methods applied include Field Observation, Interviews and Focus Group Discussions, Socialization and Education, as well as Technical Assistance. This activity offers several solutions to enhance local agricultural potential, cultural and traditional potential, as well as solutions for the village's creative economic potential. Overall, this community service activity provides a positive impact on the recognition and development of village potential based on local wisdom. This activity also opens up opportunities for program sustainability through collaboration between the community, sub-district/village government, and universities in promoting the development of more productive and competitive local potential.
