SEKOLAH PASAR MODAL: INVESTASI PASAR MODAL UNTUK MASA DEPAN BERANI MEMULAI DARI DASAR

Abstract

Low capital market literacy among university students remains one of the main factors contributing to the limited participation of young people in investment activities. Many students still perceive investing as requiring substantial capital and involving high risk, making them reluctant to begin investing. This community service program aimed to enhance students' knowledge, skills, and interest in capital market investment through the Capital Market School program entitled "Capital Market Investment for the Future: Dare to Start from the Basics." The program was conducted on August 23, 2025, at the Abdul Azis Lamadjido University Hall, involving university students as participants, speakers from the Indonesia Stock Exchange Investment Gallery (GI BEI), and Community Service Program (KKNT) students as facilitators. The implementation methods included lectures, investment application training, interactive discussions, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The results indicated an improvement in participants' understanding of fundamental capital market concepts, the use of investment applications, and increased interest and confidence in starting legal and responsible investments. This program is expected to serve as a sustainable investment education model that strengthens financial literacy and encourages the development of financially literate young investors
