EVALUASI KEBIJAKAN PROGRAM BANTUAN TERNAK SAPI POTONG DI DESA LAANTULA JAYA KECAMATAN WITAPONDA KABUPATEN MOROWALI

Abstract

Morowali Regency is one of the areas that received the Livestock Assistance Program since 2017 until now. The program is spread across all sub-districts in Morowali Regency, one of which is Witaponda District. This study aims to implement the Beef Cattle Assistance Program policy in Laantula Jaya Village, Witaponda District, Morowali Regency starting from November to January 2023. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with the method used being the survey method. The sample used was 31 farmers with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and questionnaires/surveys and using Likert scale data analysis. The results obtained were that the response of farmers to the Evaluation of the Livestock Assistance Program Policy in Laantula Jaya Village was in the neutral category towards the livestock assistance program, so it can be said that respondents agreed with the livestock assistance program in Lantula Jaya Village. This is because the assistance received by the livestock group has a positive impact on improving the family economy and is a source of employment for the community and helps increase the population of beef cattle in the village. A small number of respondents disagreed with the existence of the livestock assistance program, that the condition was caused by the group being given not based on the criteria of the community entitled to receive assistance. So it can be said that some assistance is not on target or is more dominantly given to close relatives.
