Abstract

Banana chips are one of the agricultural products that can be processed into a snack made from bananas. The bananas are then processed in such a way that they become chips, making them suitable for consumption. ASBAL Banana Chips UMKM is one of the UMKM engaged in the processing of banana chips that has been pioneering the business since 2017. This study aims to determine the level of profitability obtained by business actors. Profitability Analysis is conducted by the owner of the ASBAL Banana Chips UMKM business to calculate the barriers or opportunities from investments to be run. The results of the analysis conducted, the average total cost of this chip business in one month is Rp. 3,410,603. The average revenue obtained in one month is Rp. 7,650,000, so the income obtained in one month is Rp. 4,239,397. The calculation of the break-even point/BEP must minimally sell its products as much as 45.47 Kg in one month and sell its products at a price of Rp. 33,437/Kg. When viewed from the R/C ratio, this business is feasible to develop because the value of the R/C ratio is greater than 1. Meanwhile, when viewed from the B/C ratio, this business is feasible to develop economically, because the value of the B/C ratio obtained is 1.24, meaning it is greater than 1. Meanwhile for ROI has a very large percentage value of 124%.
