Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of work stress and workload on employee motivation in the service and spare parts division of PT Suzuki Patrako Motor Abadi in Palu City. The type of research used idescriptive verifiable research. The population of this study consists of 34 employees from the service and spare parts division of PT Suzuki Patrako Motor Abadi in Palu City. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that work stress and workload significantly influence employee motivation simultaneously. Work stress has a low positive correlation with motivation. This means that if work stress increases, it will cause a small increase in motivation. Workload also has a low positive correlation with motivation. This means that if the workload increases, it will cause a small increase in motivation.
