Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to determine and analyze the placement of functional positions of social extension workers in the Social Services of Central Sulawesi Province. (2) to determine and analyze the inhibiting factors in the placement of functional positions of social extension workers in the Social Services of Central Sulawesi Province. This type of research is qualitative research with five selected informants. Data collection used observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used are (1) Data collection (2) Data reduction (3) Data presentation (4) verification (5) conclusion. Supporting factors for the placement of functional positions of social extension workers in the Social Services of Central Sulawesi Province are: (a) Higher education qualifications (b) Long work experience (c) Adequate number of human resources (d) Work performance (e) Managerial skills and Regulation of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform No. 1 of 2024.
