PENGARUH PENGETAHUAN KEUANGAN DAN SIKAP KEUANGAN TERHADAP PENGELOLAAN KEUANGAN PELAKU USAHA UMKM DI LAPANGAN VATULEMO KOTA PALU

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of financial knowledge and financial attitudes on the financial management of MSME business actors in the Vatulemo Field, Palu City, both simultaneously and partially. This type of research uses descriptive and verifiable methods. The data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The sample in this study amounted to 58 respondents. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 24 program.  The results of the study show that the variables of financial knowledge and financial attitudes simultaneously have a significant effect on the financial management of MSME business actors in the Vatulemo Field, Palu City. Partially, financial knowledge and financial attitudes also have a positive and significant effect on financial management. The relationship between financial knowledge and financial attitudes and financial management with a correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.773 showed a strong relationship. The determination coefficient of 0.597 explained that the contribution of financial knowledge and financial attitudes to financial management was 59.7%, while the rest was influenced by other factors outside of this study.
