Author Guidelines for the Lamadjdo Accounting Journal (LAJUR)
The Lamadjdo Accounting Journal (LAJUR) welcomes submissions that reflect rigorous scholarly research and thought in the field of accounting. The following guidelines are designed to assist authors in preparing manuscripts for submission.

Manuscript Preparation:
- Language: Manuscripts must be submitted in English. Authors should ensure their manuscript is written in clear, grammatical English.
- Length: Articles typically should not exceed 8000 words, including abstract, tables, references, and appendices.
- Abstract: Each manuscript should include an abstract of 150 to 250 words summarizing the key points of the article.
- Keywords: Provide 4 to 6 keywords that describe the main topics of the paper.

Formatting Requirements:
- Document Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format.
- Font and Spacing: Use Times New Roman 12-point font, double-spaced.
- Margins: Set margins to at least 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
- Page Numbering: Pages should be numbered consecutively throughout the manuscript.

Structure of the Manuscript:
- Title Page: The title page should include the title of the manuscript, the authors' names and affiliations, and a footnote indicating the corresponding author’s contact details.
- Introduction: Clearly state the purpose of the article, including research questions and hypotheses.
- Literature Review: Provide a review of the relevant literature that supports the research.
- Methodology: Detail the research design, data sources, analytical techniques, and procedures used in the study.
- Results: Present the findings of the study in a logical sequence.
- Discussion: Interpret the findings, discuss their implications, and show how they relate to other studies.
- Conclusions: Summarize the main findings and their practical and theoretical implications.

- Ensure that all references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text and vice versa.

- Tables and figures should be placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- Each table and figure should have a descriptive title and be clearly labeled.

- Manuscripts must be submitted electronically via the journal's online submission system.
- Ensure that the manuscript is free from any identifying information to facilitate blind review.

Review and Publication Process:
- Upon submission, manuscripts will undergo a preliminary review by the editorial board. If found suitable, the manuscript will be sent for peer review.
- The review process is double-blind; both the reviewers and authors are anonymous to each other.
