Archiving Policy of LAMADJIDO MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS JOURNAL (LAMBI)

LAMADJIDO MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS JOURNAL (LAMBI) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation of the scholarly articles it publishes and to providing continuous access to this content. The following outlines our archiving policy:

Digital Archiving

  • Journal Website: All articles published by LAMBI are stored on our secure server and are accessible from the journal's website without any access fee.
  • Third-Party Repositories: To ensure the security and permanent availability of the manuscript, LAMBI uses multiple third-party repositories that comply with the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system for archiving.
  • Institutional Repositories: Authors are encouraged to deposit their published articles in their respective institutional repositories as long as the original publication is clearly cited and a link to the journal’s website is provided.

Access

  • Open Access: As part of our commitment to open access, all archived content is available without charge to the public under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License, which permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Preservation Formats

  • PDF/A: All content is converted and preserved in PDF/A format, a standard for long-term preservation of electronic documents.

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

  • Backup Procedures: Regular backups are taken and stored in multiple geographic locations to prevent data loss and ensure continuity of access in the case of a disaster.
  • Migration Strategy: LAMBI has a strategy in place to migrate data to new formats if the existing formats become obsolete.

Succession Plan

  • Long-Term Preservation: In the event that LAMADJIDO MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS JOURNAL ceases publication, arrangements have been made to ensure that all content published by LAMBI will be archived and remain accessible to the public. These arrangements include agreements with libraries and other third-party archives.
