Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process of LAMADJIDO MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS JOURNAL (LAMBI)

LAMADJIDO MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS JOURNAL (LAMBI) adheres to a rigorous double-blind peer review process that ensures the integrity and quality of published research. Our review process is designed to uphold the standards of academic rigor, objectivity, and fairness. The key stages of the peer review process are as follows:

Submission of Manuscript

Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts through the journal's online submission system. Submissions must adhere to the journal’s submission guidelines, including formatting and referencing standards.

Initial Screening

Upon submission, the Editor-in-Chief conducts an initial screening to assess the manuscript’s compliance with the journal's focus and scope, its adherence to the submission guidelines, and the overall quality and originality of the work. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic standards will be rejected outright.

Assignment to Reviewers

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent experts in the relevant field. These reviewers are selected based on their expertise, and care is taken to avoid potential conflicts of interest. The identities of both the reviewers and the authors are kept confidential to ensure an unbiased review process.

Review Process

Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, methodological rigor, clarity of exposition, and contribution to the field. They are also asked to provide detailed comments and suggestions for improvement, if applicable. The review process typically takes between four to six weeks, but may vary depending on the availability of reviewers.

Decision Making

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief makes one of the following decisions:

  • Accept: The manuscript is accepted for publication without any changes.
  • Minor Revisions: The manuscript is accepted after minor revisions are made, with no further review required.
  • Major Revisions: The manuscript requires significant changes and must be resubmitted for another round of review.
  • Reject: The manuscript is not suitable for publication in the journal, based on the feedback provided by the reviewers.

Revision and Approval

Authors whose manuscripts are returned for revisions are given detailed feedback along with a deadline to submit the revised manuscript. Once submitted, the revised manuscript may undergo further review by the original reviewers or may be directly accepted by the Editor-in-Chief, depending on the extent of the required revisions.

Publication

Upon final approval, the manuscript is forwarded to the production team for copyediting, layout, and proofreading. Authors will receive proofs of their articles for final approval before publication.

LAMADJIDO MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS JOURNAL is committed to maintaining transparency and fairness throughout the review process, ensuring that each manuscript is evaluated solely on its academic merit and relevance to the journal’s community.
