Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher competence and utilization of information technology on the performance of Karavana Elementary School teachers. The type of research used is descriptive associative research. The population of this study was 32 Karavana Elementary School teachers. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires and documentation. The scale used in this study was the Likert scale and the analysis tool used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that teacher competence and utilization of information technology simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of Karavana Elementary School teachers with an F count value of 16.666 while the F table value is 3.25 and the Sig F value is 0.000 <α 0.05. Teacher competence has a significant effect on the performance of Karavana Elementary School teachers with a t count value of the Teacher Competence variable (X1) of 2.742 and a t table value of 2.02619 and a sig. t value of 0.024 is smaller than = 5%. (0.024 <0.05). The use of information technology has a significant effect on the performance of Karavana Elementary School teachers with a t-count value of the information technology use variable (X2) of 3.157 and a t-table value of 2.02619 while the sig. t value is 0.000, which is smaller than = 5%. (0.004 <0.05).
