Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

The Jurnal Pascasarjana Manajemen implements a rigorous and ethical peer-review process to ensure the quality, credibility, and academic integrity of each published manuscript. The journal adheres to international standards of scholarly publishing and applies the following review procedures:

1. Initial Editorial Screening

  • Every submitted manuscript undergoes an initial assessment by the editorial team.

  • The editor evaluates the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, originality, adherence to author guidelines, and overall academic quality.

  • Manuscripts that do not meet the basic criteria may be rejected at this stage (desk rejection).

2. Plagiarism Check

  • All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software.

  • Manuscripts with excessive similarity (above the journal’s acceptable threshold) will be returned to authors for revision or rejected.

3. Double-Blind Peer Review

  • Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are forwarded to two independent reviewers.

  • The journal applies a double-blind review, where both reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other to ensure objectivity.

  • Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the manuscript’s subject area.

4. Reviewer Evaluation Criteria

Reviewers assess the manuscript based on:

  • Revised manuscripts may be returned to reviewers for re-evaluation if necessary.

7. Final Decision

  • The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection is made by the Editor-in-Chief or the editorial board.

  • The editorial board considers reviewer recommendations, revision quality, and overall manuscript contribution.
