The Jurnal Pascasarjana Manajemen upholds the highest standards of publication ethics to ensure integrity, transparency, and accountability throughout the academic publishing process. The journal follows ethical principles recommended by COPE, emphasizing responsibilities of authors, reviewers, editors, and publishers.


1. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

1.1 Originality and Integrity

  • Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original works and free from plagiarism.

  • All sources used must be properly cited and referenced.

1.2 Multiple or Redundant Publication

  • Manuscripts must not be submitted simultaneously to more than one journal.

  • Previously published work cannot be republished unless clearly stated and justified.

1.3 Authorship

  • Authorship must accurately reflect individuals who contributed significantly to the research.

  • All listed authors must approve the manuscript and agree to its submission.

  • Contributors who do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately.

1.4 Data Accuracy and Transparency

  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy, validity, and integrity of their data.

  • Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data is strictly prohibited.

  • Authors may be asked to provide raw data for editorial review.

2. Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers

2.1 Confidentiality

  • All manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.

2.2 Objectivity and Fairness

  • Reviews must be conducted objectively, based solely on academic merit.

  • Personal criticism of authors is not acceptable.

2.3 Conflict of Interest

  • Reviewers must decline the review if they have competing interests or cannot provide an impartial evaluation.

2.4 Timeliness

  • Reviewers should complete reviews within the agreed timeline and notify the editor immediately if unable to do so.

2.5 Contribution to Quality

  • Reviewers should provide constructive, clear, and evidence-based comments to improve the manuscript.

3.1 Editorial Independence

  • Editors have full authority to accept or reject manuscripts based on academic merit and journal policy.

3.2 Fair Decision-Making

  • Manuscripts are evaluated without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or political preference.

3.3 Confidentiality

  • Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and reviewer identities.

3.4 Conflict of Interest

  • Editors must not handle manuscripts in which they have personal or financial conflicts of interest.

3.5 Ensuring Ethical Standards

  • Editors must take appropriate action if ethical concerns arise regarding submitted or published works.


4. Ethical Responsibilities of the Publisher

  • The publisher supports the journal in maintaining ethical publishing standards.

  • The publisher ensures the integrity of the editorial process and assists in addressing ethical issues or misconduct.

  • The publisher safeguards digital archiving and long-term accessibility of published content.


5. Handling Ethical Misconduct

  • All allegations of unethical behavior will be investigated thoroughly following COPE guidelines.

  • Actions may include notifying authors, issuing corrections, retracting articles, or enforcing sanctions if required.
