Plagiarism Policy 

The Jurnal Pascasarjana Manajemen upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited and will be addressed according to international publishing guidelines, including those recommended by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).


1. Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism is the presentation of another person’s work, ideas, data, or text as one’s own without proper acknowledgment. This includes:

  • Copying text from published or unpublished sources without citation

  • Using another author’s ideas or research findings without attribution

  • Self-plagiarism (reusing significant parts of one’s previously published work without disclosure)

  • Unauthorized use of figures, tables, images, or data from other sources


2. Manuscript Screening

  • All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism detection using recognized software.

  • Manuscripts exceeding the journal’s similarity threshold (e.g., 20%) may be rejected or returned for revision.


3. Responsibilities of Authors

  • Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original and properly cite all sources.

  • Authors must disclose any previous publications related to the manuscript.

  • Any use of third-party material must have appropriate permissions and citations.


4. Handling Plagiarism Cases

  • Suspected plagiarism is investigated by the editorial board.

  • Actions may include:

    1. Rejection of the manuscript

    2. Request for revision or proper citation

    3. Notification of the author’s institution or relevant authorities

    4. Retraction of published articles if plagiarism is discovered post-publication


5. Ethical Commitment

  • The journal expects all authors, reviewers, and editors to maintain honesty and integrity in research and publication.

  • All parties are responsible for reporting suspected misconduct.
