PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN PELATIHAN DAN MASA KERJA TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN KARIR DI KANTOR CAMAT PALU BARAT
Abstract
The objectives of this study were (1) to determine and analyze the significant influence of education, training, and length of service on career development at the West Palu District Office, Palu City. (2) to determine and analyze the significant influence of education on career development at the West Palu District Office, Palu City. (3) to determine and analyze the significant influence of training on career development at the West Palu District Office, Palu City. (4) to determine and analyze the significant influence of length of service on career development at the West Palu District Office, Palu City. This research is a quantitative study with a population of 40 people. Data collection consisted of observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the study concluded: (1) Education, training, and length of service have a significant influence on employee career development at the West Palu District Office, Palu City. Education provides a foundation of knowledge and thinking skills, training enhances practical skills and professionalism, while tenure enriches experience and organizational understanding. (2) Education has a significant influence on employee career development at the West Palu District Office, Palu City. Education improves employee competence, performance, adaptability, and readiness to face greater responsibilities. (3) Training has a significant influence on employee career development at the West Palu District Office, Palu City. Training improves employee competence, performance, motivation, professional attitudes, and readiness to occupy higher positions. (4) Tenure has a significant influence on employee career development at the West Palu District Office, Palu City. Tenure increases employee experience, organizational understanding, leadership trust, and professional maturity.
