PENGARUH KOMPETENSI DAN KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA MADRASAH TERHADAP PRESTASI PESERTA DIDIK PADA MADRASAH ALIYAH NEGERI 2 KOTA PALU

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine and analyze the influence of principal competence and leadership on student achievement at State Islamic Senior High School 2, Palu City. (2) To determine and analyze the influence of principal competence on student achievement at State Islamic Senior High School 2, Palu City. (3) To determine and analyze the influence of principal leadership on student achievement at State Islamic Senior High School 2, Palu City. The uses of this study are as follows: (1) Scientific Aspect: This research is expected to be useful for the development of science, particularly regarding principal competence, leadership, and student achievement. (2) Applied Aspect: This research is expected to provide input for consideration at State Islamic Senior High School 2, Palu City regarding principal competence, leadership, and student achievement. This type of research is quantitative research with a population of 82 people. Data collection consisted of observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the study concluded: (1) The competence and leadership of the madrasah principal influence student achievement at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2, Palu City. (2) Competence influences student achievement at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2, Palu City. (3) The leadership of the madrasah principal influences student achievement at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2, Palu City.
